Project Runway Canada is a Gemini Award-winning Canadian television adaptation of the American reality television series Project Runway, which sees aspiring fashion designers compete for an industry breakthrough. Each week, a designer is eliminated from the competition after exhibiting their work in front of a judges' panel. The series was canceled in 2010; however, a revival was announced in 2025.

Chop Shop is a Canadian docusoap television series created, directed and produced by Ziad Touma that premiered on February 4, 2009, on the Slice Network. The show follows the stylists at a rock and roll hair salon in Vancouver, British Columbia. The series was produced by Paperny Films.

Princess is a Canadian television series hosted by Gail Vaz-Oxlade that premiered in 2010. The program is similar in format to her earlier endeavor, Til Debt Do Us Part; however, rather than helping couples in financial trouble, Vaz-Oxlade assists women who are considered self-indulgent and spoiled. Participants are given weekly challenges, some of which are to help bring the finances and debt under control, while others are meant to help correct the participant's attitude and make amends to their friends and relatives. At the end of six weeks, Vaz-Oxlade gives the participant a cheque for an amount up to $5,000, based upon Vaz-Oxlade's assessment of the participant's success in each of the challenges. In the United States, the show airs on Saturday nights on cable news channel CNBC.

Sex, Toys, & Chocolate is a talk show produced by Alliance Atlantis on cable and satellite in Canada. Premiering on March 5, 2004, new episodes appeared on Life Network and older ones ran on Discovery Health network. It was hosted by Robin Milhausen and Michael Cho. Each show opens with interspersed scenes of Milhausen and Cho discussing some sex-related topic with three women and three men respectively. Each half-hour episode features the story of one bride-to-be in the high-anxiety period less than two months before the big day. The bride has her wedding dress, but it doesn’t fit. Hosted by Carrie Olver, the programme mainly visits destination spas and day spas, and has been to many different world regions — including all around North America, as well as the Caribbean, Scandinavia, England, central Europe and east Asia — in search of different sorts of treatments and experiences. It covers types of massage particular to a region; areas with natural hot springs for bathing, different kinds of cuisine, alternative holistic treatments and materials thought to have healing qualities are also explored. The mood of the programme is very relaxed, and its theme tune and incidental music are deliberately soothing, to reflect the subject matter. It has been shown worldwide since beginning on Canada's Life Network, to NDTV in India and You TV in the UK. The large amount of nudity on Spectacular Spas is not usually a problem for censors, since only Carrie Olver's back is exposed when she gets massaged, but You TV decided to cut out a sequence where she stripped off her towel in a river after having a mud bath.
