UFC 205: Alvarez vs. McGregor is a mixed martial arts event promoted by the Ultimate Fighting Championship held on November 12, 2016 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. This event was the first UFC event hosted in New York City. It was also the first UFC event hosted in the state of New York after the longtime professional MMA ban was revoked in early 2016.
