A communist forest ranger from a tribal community is tasked with whipping five spoiled female cadets into shape. Their bonding trip into the woods turns deadly when they come across foreign mercenaries plotting to sabotage a government satellite launch.

A skeleton is found at the home of Esther (Nandita Das), whose fisherman husband Arulappasamy (Vishnu) has been missing for the past 25 years.
