The story follows a girl named Lila, who, after her father's death, discovers she has the ability to communicate with him from beyond the grave. As she explores this supernatural connection, she faces emotional challenges and family secrets that will test her faith in what she thought was possible.

After losing her father in a tragic fire, 10-year-old Risa discovers a decommissioned payphone that allows her to speak to the dead. Each of them has a wish, a request, something to resolve. If Risa helps them with their unfinished business in the world of the living, they will allow her to fulfill her impossible wish: to speak to her father one last time.
