At a parish meeting Åsa-Nisse suggests that they should hire a common home help, who could give their wives some relief by staying one week at each household. The meeting assents and decides that the order of her rotation should be established by lot. The two bachelors of the village claim their right to the home help as well, arguing that they are also taxpayers. When Elsa Haglund arrives from Gothenburg she starts her first week of work at one of the two bachelors, the village shop-keeper Sjökvist. He is immediately infatuated by her and begins a flirtation. At the end of the week Elsa happens to meet the other bachelor, Eric Broo, called "the singing farmer". She falls in love with him, but doesn't know how to hook him, as he is very shy and unskilled in courting women. In the meantime Åsa-Nisse, the village rogue, carries out some of his pranks.

The world-famous Swedish boxer Flosse travels to Italy to fight for the world boxing title. In Rome he meets the nightclub singer Lollo.

A drama about the manager Håkan Dahlin who has just been discharged from a clinic where he was treated for his alcoholism. In an outbreak of jealousy, Dahlin abuses his wife Inga and after that he is forcibly interned again. Inga is a nurse and she is now moving to a mountain village to work at a district clinic. During an emergency visit, she encounters her childhood sweetheart, the doctor Gunnar, and old feelings between them begin to flare up again.

Two violinists in the same orchestra fall in love and get married, but they can't get along.

Gugge and Nuffe work at the competing meat wholesalers AB Delikatesser and AB Skånedelikatesser. The two companies compete for a large order and the two will stop at hardly nothing to get the order

A young woman dies by suicide and leaves all her belongings to her next-door neighbour, who becomes determined to investigate her reasons for taking her life.

Country bailiff believes that a man of the people shall exercise police work. Åsa-Nisse appointed to the local police for some time. "Nesses" sometimes odd methods will still work somehow. Åsa-Nisse and Klabbarparn then visit Gothenburg to see the singer Gun from Knohult at Liseberg. There they also take a tour of the roller-coaster.

Yrhage receives his manuscripts from an 11 year-old whose inspiration comes from the mysterious events at a boarding house where several of the characters stay.

The station-master Fabian Bom is a very meticulous person, and he makes sure that the trains leaves exactly - on the second. To him, nothing could be more important than duty, efficiency and punctuality, in fact, his sense of duty is clearly perverted. His beloved Plum-Plum, the major's daughter, is infatuated with army officers. To regain her attention, he joins the infantry. Bom becomes a soldier who loves the military training, long marches as well as hard labour as punishment. He meets Agnes, who falls madly in love with him.

In a movie studio, a fight scene is underway. The hero, played by Allan Bergner, will make an impression on the heroine, played by Ylva Vendel. But Allan is not prepared to give more than one pale hint of fight; he wants to be presentable in later scenes as well. The director wears his hair.

Taken to a hospital where he meets Dr. Lovisa Sundelius, virtually the only woman in Sweden who do not admire the radio idol.

Kjell Loväng returns to his parent's farm after a few years of work in Stockholm. He discovers that his father Arvid neglects the farm and spends too much time drinking and meeting other women. Kjell has to prove to his father his ability to manage the farm.

Midsummer Eve in Malmfors in the 1880s. The holiday is celebrated with a big party. Three blacksmiths leave the ironworks and become drifters, seeking out jobs elsewhere. During their travels, they come across beautiful girls as well as jobs in different ironworks, where the workers are organizing, monitored by a brutal police force.

The fishermen Österman and Sjöberg are sued by merchant Wikström. In order to raise capital, they decide to start producing a medicine from a recipe by Österman's father.

The scam artist Jens Nielsen is in prison. In exchange for a cigarette, he is told by fellow prisoner, Sture Kaxe, that he has a precious jewel worth SEK 100,000 hidden away.

The wholesaler Blomberg is a regular customer of "Parfumerie Marie Danielsson". He often buys perfume for his many girlfriends. Blomberg's driver Bengt Lundgren is in love with the shop assistant Eva Bergström. Bengt deceives his boss by telling him that his car has broken, then he can go out with Eva.

Sven Jönsson is a big man in Havborre fishing village in Skåne. He is usually called Sven Tusan.

Erik Ernsson is on his way to Jon-Persgården in Ångermanland to seek employment. He befriends the old man Janne Vängman.

A comedy in which the noted and rotund Swedish comedian, Edvard Persson, plays the title role (Baldevin), as a waterfront tramp leading his chosen life-style of indolence. A friend urges him to wage a courtship of a rich widow, which he does and manages to get involved in many humorous situations in the process.

it's the 1840s and a rural parish plagued by drinking and fighting gets a new vicar who has decided to instill law, order and fear of God into the parishioners.

Martin Wide inherits a bus from his dying grandfather. He restores it from being a hen house into a tourist bus. He puts an ad in the newspaper about "travels to the sun" and also advertises for a stewardess at the same time. The female reporter Vera Boman signs up for the job, in order to expose the "tourist travel hoax". The two, together with passengers of various kinds set off from a snowy Sweden towards Paris. During the trip, Vera starts to realize that Martin is not a "tourist cheater" but a kind and thoughtful travel arranger, who tries to tend to all his passengers as best as he can, even when the situations become difficult to handle. In addition, a famous Swedish diamond has just been stolen and it turns out that both the thieves and the private detectives who are after them, are passengers on the bus.

The lawyer Målbrott informs Borgkrona that he has inherited a haunted castle and must stay there for a fortnight. However, once at the castle he meets his old relative who is a ghost (Järrell) and the two trade places

"Conflict" - Shipbuilder Edvard Banck is busy building new ships, but forgets that his wife Birgit wants his attention and tenderness. A new engineer, Reidar Hagen, begins at the shipyard, and Birgit is immediately attracted to him. They fall in love, and Birgit decides to leave her husband. But is it possible and what will Edvard do?

Brulard, a French civil engineer on assignment in a remote Swedish village, meets Ina, who has been raised in forested isolation by her haggish mother and believes herself to be a witch.
