Somewhere In The Stratosphere Electric was filmed in Washington state on August 8th, 2010. The DVD includes a live set of wildly popular tracks off the band's platinum plus selling Sound Of Madness. Featuring the driving rock of "Diamond Eyes (Boom-Lay Boom-Lay Boom)", "Second Chance", "Save Me" and more the electric set of Somewhere In The Stratosphere provides a front and center look at the passion and energy that go into every Shinedown performance.

Shinedown celebrated the release of their new album Planet Zero on July 1 with a free show in Florida that streamed across the internet. Tickets to watch the broadcast were free. And after the rock band's performance, fans physically were treated to an in-store signing and meet-and-greet from the act.
