The movie is about an old disabled lady who lives with her spinster daughter. The lady desperately wants her daughter to marry, and the daughter, driven by the supposed imminent death of her mother, invites a total stranger home and introduces him as her boyfriend. The man and the prospective mother-in-law eventually start to like each other, and he makes every effort to be liked by the daughter. With the intervention of a fantasy granddaughter, quasi-miraculous healing, and a lot of hilarious repartee in between, the movie has a happy ending.

With good intentions, the protagonist hides the official’s son in the hospital to knock out the latest equipment, but when the fraud is revealed, Ilya is kicked out and deprived of his license. In the maelstrom of events, Ilya does not lose his humor and self-confidence and challenges all troubles in spite of his enemies.

USSR, 1979. A guy meets a girl at a party. The girl is a hairdresser, the guy helps his father at a meat-processing plant. Soon a son is born and the couple become a family. The beginning of 2004. The boy has grown into a lyric poet but, nevertheless, follows the father’s footsteps and works at the meat-processing plant. A reflection on happiness gets him into a dead end, from which, apparently, there is no way out. But here in his life enters the accountant Liubov, or Love, and there comes the time of the wedding…

In this battle between two outstanding chess players, a duel of personalities under immense psychological pressure, the stakes are incomprehensibly high.

The unknown actor Lesha works as animator and doesn’t see a chance of success. Lesha doesn’t understand how he is worse than a well-known actor of numerous sensational movies. In complete despair, he notices a girl on the roof of a house and rescues her from jumping, without suspecting that this will later present him with a chance of finding a way into big cinema.

A Russian emigrant in Scandinavia sends her son to school, but he does not return. In search of a child, she finds herself in a dead end: according to the laws of the "new" juvenile justice, her son is the property of the state.

Igor is a once successful millionaire, now bankrupt and a man on the brink. Having reached the roof of a high-rise building, he is preparing to put an end to his life. But his plans are disrupted by the appearance of a strange guy who decided that dying beautifully is also a kind of art. Their acquaintance turns into an absurd duel of despair... And what will happen next - a jump into the abyss or a decision to start a new life, remains a mystery until the very end.
