Shadowplayers is a two hour documentary film by James Nice tracing the early history of iconic Manchester Label Factory Records between 1978 and 1981. The facts and the fictions are explored through candid interviews with 22 key participants, including Anthony H. Wilson (Founder) and Peter Saville (Designer), as well as musicians including Peter Hook (Joy Division/New Order), Vini Reilly (Durutti Common), Simon Topping and Martin Moscrop (A Certain Ratio), Chris Watson (Cabaret Voltaire) and Howard Devoto (Buzzcocks/Magazine). The film is divided into 19 chapters, covering subjects such as The Factory Club, sleeve art and graphic design, producer Martin Hannett, the riot at the Joy Division concert at Bury in April 1980, The Factory Beneleux connection, the tragic suicide of Joy Division singer Ian Curtis, the beginnings of New Order, and the decline of the post-punk culture in 1981.

Over four decades, Motorhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister has registered an immeasurable impact on music history. Nearly 65, he remains the living embodiment of the rock and roll lifestyle, and this feature-length documentary tells his story, one of a hard-living rock icon who continues to enjoy the life of a man half his age.

This isn't a documentary, but two completely separate concerts performed by the legends. The first finds them in 1981 playing New York. It's fascinating to see, because they still have that Joy Division image hanging over them. Brilliantly, they don't speak to the audience, or themselves. Heavily relies on the 'Movement' album, but has a proto Temptation, which is always good to hear. The second is their appearance at the 1998 Reading Festival, which is basically a greatest hits set, but there's nothing better than a New Order greatest hits: Regret, Bizarre Love Triangle, True Faith, Temptation (again!) and, of course, Blue Monday. The Joy Division back catalogue is also given a dusting down: Isolation, Atmosphere, Heart and Soul. Then there is an interview with the original four (we miss you Gillian) which reveals them completely at ease with their legend. God bless them.

International is a 2002 greatest hits collection from New Order. It was released only in a few countries—United Kingdom notably excluded, although imports were available. Available editions include those from France with a limited edition bonus CD and from the US with a limited edition bonus DVD. As it came out in the same year as the 4/5 disc Retro compilation, many New Order fans did not purchase International, particularly those fans in the countries in which it was never sold. One new track, the single "Here to Stay" from the 24 Hour Party People soundtrack, was however put on International, which was not on Retro, providing a possible incentive to those fans waiting for Retro. After sitting out much of the '90s, they reemerged with acclaimed albums in 2001 (Get Ready) and 2005 (Waiting For The Sirens' Call), and in late 2006, performed a rare and celebratory two-night stand in Glasgow, Scotland.

New Order: Movement showcases early live performances from 1980–1983, capturing the band’s transition after Joy Division. The release focuses on raw, formative concert footage from venues across Europe and North America, offering the most extensive visual record of New Order’s earliest era.

On the 18th May 2015, Peter Hook & the Light preformed a special Joy Division show live at Christ Church, Ian Curtis’s boyhood church in Macclesfield, England. This concert premiered 40 years after Curtis' death to celebrate the life of Curtis. The set list contains the entire Joy Division/Warsaw discography played in full.
