Known primarily as the lead guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne and for his groundbreaking guitar work on the albums “Blizzard of Ozz” and “Diary of a Madman”, Randy spent most of his life playing in a small band known at the time, Quiet Riot. After leaving Quiet Riot to play, record and tour with Ozzy, Randy died at the young age of 25 in a tragic plane crash in Florida. His body died that day, but his soul and music live on forever.

Recorded live at the New Haven Veteran's Coliseum in New Haven, Connecticut on 27 AUG 1986 and released on video the following year, Live Without a Net captures Van Halen during their 5150 tour.

Live: Right Here, Right Now. is the one and only live album by American hard rock band Van Halen, released in 1993. The album combines songs performed over two nights in May 1992 at the Selland Arena in Fresno, CA. The bulk of the songs on this album were from the first night, such as the solos performed by Eddie Van Halen and Sammy Hagar.

Live performance of Van Halen, recorded August 27, 1986 at Veterans Memorial Coliseum, New Haven, Connecticut. The concert was the band's first video release and was part of the 5150 Tour, supporting the album of the same name, Van Halen's first with lead vocalist Sammy Hagar.

This show is the only known show from the 'OU812 Tour' that was professionally filmed.

On June 11-13, 1981, Van Halen recorded their performances of "Hear About It Later", "So This Is Love?", and "Unchained" at the Oakland Coliseum. The three videos were aired as promos on MTV and other tv networks.

Dallas has been added to Van Halen's latest tour - and today's show won't cost fans a cent. Lead singer Sammy Hagar is keeping a promise he made in 1988 when he stopped a concert at the Cotton Bowl to apologize, saying his voice was weak because of a sinus infection and strep throat. "Like a fool, I said, 'I'll do a free concert for you folks,'" Hagar recalled. The show was scheduled in the afternoon at West End Marketplace in Dallas, TX on December 4th, 1991 with an estimated 80,000 fans in attendance. Sammy Hagar's promise ended up costing the band about $200,000.
