A new student at Washington College undergoes hazing, college football, dirty tricks by the rival team and a romance with a co-ed from Betsy Ross College.

A SPEEDY MARRIAGE (Universal-Century - Two Reels) This is a typical Wanda Wiley vehicle with a world of action, none of which, however, has not been seen many times before. They have taken the action out of about three oft-repeated comedy tales and crowded it into these two reels. Miss Wiley is certainly a lively young lady and a glutton for punishment. She takes many a hard fall and an equal number of rough knocks. She is also capable of better material than she is given to exploit in this one.

Having caused her father’s auto business trouble by slacking off and not showing up to work, Wanda Wiley finds an ingenious way to help. His company is entering a car race but needs a driver. Wanda steps in to try to win the race. Hijinks follow.

Jane's father favors one of her suitors, her mother another one, and Jane a third one. She gets the first two suitors to have a boxing match to determine the best man, while she and her favored suitor elope.

Wanda Wiley stars as a very slow and lazy daughter in this excellent Century short. She gets servants to feed her and even plays tennis sitting in a chair. One day she decides to wake up to win the man she loves by going on an outdoor adventure that involves skunks and moonshiners!

Forsaken and broke, Wanda figures out a way to get money. She puts sunglasses on a sleeping homeless person in the park, cuts a hole in the bottom of the derby she's holding, then hides under the bench and picks up the coins dropped by passersby who take pity on the "blind man." She is approached by a handsome young man whom she tries to impress.

As Wanda bicycles down the street, she finds herself at the center of a series of adventures and mishaps involving fire trucks, a construction site, a cop, a policeman, a honky tonk but it all ends happily in the arms of a dreamy engineer.
