The Galician Candida has a bakery in front of the butcher Robustito, who constantly berates although children of both Aurora and Rodolfo are in love. In the neighborhood where they live, the neighbors prepared a joke to the galician girl. She gets angry Robustito hard time believing him guilty of what happened.

Returning to his home town, seminarist Miguel is forced to trade the robes for a charro costume in order to solve several problems that appear in his way, including the female kind.

In the midst of the Mexican Revolution, the landowner Mendoza manages to get along with both the government and the revolutionary group. For the former, he is a supporter of Huerta. For the latter, he is a Zapata supporter. Depending on the political preference of whoever visits him at his hacienda, he has portraits of Huerta or Zapata put up, and organizes a party in honor of his visitors. However, time goes by and the situation becomes untenable. For whom will he take sides?

A young ice cream vendor, Roberto Terranova, witnesses a child being beaten and comes to his aid by physically overpowering the aggressor. His strength and natural ability catches the eye of a well-known boxing trainer. Considering him a diamond in the rough, he aims to put Roberto in the professional ring. But Roberto finds that his personal challenges must be overcome before he can achieve professional greatness.

In Guanajuato, a piano teacher delays her marriage to an engineer not to let her younger sisters alone. As he is love with her voice, he is mistaken for a sister whom he marries. The teacher then goes to the capital. There she becomes part of a family of young students, who believe she is the mistress of his father, so she suffers the scorn and reproach. Over the years the parents die and she renounces to the inheritance they leave her.

Three men receive a newborn child, along with a message that leaves the mother for dead and one of them for the father.
