YEARS OF PILGRIMAGE: Franz Liszt was a virtuoso pianist that took early nineteenth-century Europe by storm. He conquered the Parisian salons with passionate performances marked by excellent technique and handsome features that became the downfall of many women. But what was he truly after? The musical narrates the story of Liszt's early years, and his pilgrimage across Europe in an attempt to find a place where his soul could belong, focusing on the romance with the Countess Marie d'Agoult, and his greatest friend and rival, Chopin. FASHIONABLE EMPIRE: A revue that transforms the stage into the "Empire" where the pioneering fashionistas of our time gather. The stylish array of scenes will enchant the audience, at times with the cool atmosphere, and at times with the hot beats. Takarazuka Flower Troupe 2014 Chunichi Theater production. In 1770, Princess Marie-Antoinette of the House of Hapsburg, youngest daughter of Empress Maria Theresa of Austria, marries at the age of fourteen, Prince Louis (future Louis XVI) of the House of Bourbon, eldest grandson of King Louis XV of France. In anxiety over some childishness still lingering in Marie-Antoinette, Empress Maria Theresa sends over to France her confidant, Count of Mercy-Argenteau, on the mission to tutor Marie-Antoinette to grow up to be a beloved queen of the French people.

A dance concert for new top star Yuzuka Rei. The first act is a story revue — the bittersweet tale of a hero, Achilles, from Greek mythology who accidentally travels in time to the modern day. The second act is a more traditional revue.

Inside the village of Poe a mysterious noble family takes residence with their son Edgar and ill daughter Marybell. Edgar is quickly intrigued by Allan, the heir of a transportation company, who catches his eye by almost running him over with a horse. As the story unfolds a few residents of Poe slowly begin to wonder about the new family. (Flower Troupe)

SORROWFUL CORDOBA: A story set in Cordoba and Madrid, Spain. Elio is a star matador, and is also engaged to his teacher Navarro's cheerful and sweet daughter. Life seems to be going very smoothly for him, but then one evening at a party he meets again his first love, Eva. Eva had married a nobleman and been widowed, and is now the lover of Ricardo Romero. Elio's good friend Vicente is always committing adultery with other men's wives and not heeding Elio's warnings. One day he is caught. He wins the duel and kills his opponent, but his status as a matador is lost, and he disappears without a trace... COOL BEAST!!: Yuzuka Rei, with her wild seductiveness, is a Cool Beast!! As there are increasing performances in the Takarazuka Revue, in 1921, the Flower Troupe and the Moon Troupe were born, and the first Flower Troupe performance was held. The year 2021 celebrates the 100th anniversary for the Flower Troupe. And in this performance, it will be led by the new top combi Yuzuka Rei and Hoshikaze Madoka. The glamourous work of "The Fascination" will celebrate the establishment and 100th anniversary of the Flower Troupe. Takarazuka Revue Flower Troupe 2012 original musical based on the life and works of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

A grand restaging of the show "The Revue," which premiered in 1977 and won the Art Festival Excellence Award, based on the original "luxury, splendor and beauty" of the Takarazuka Revue, and reconstructed with a modern sense while maintaining the spirit of the first performance.

"I shall give eternal life only to beautiful things...." While visiting London in 1887, Count Dracula of Romania exchanges promises with the daughter of a multi-millionaire. The romance of vampire legends has traveled about for hundreds of years, and in 1987 Star Troupe performed this production with Shion Yuu in the pivotal role. This very popular show was a unique theme for Takarazuka-- the first act is on classical and aesthetic beauty, and the second act is a more modern pop style of Count Dracula's love.

Harvey Rockwood, a world-renowned botanist, comes across bad weather and finds himself enveloped by a dense fog. Under the blanket of the mist, he hears the sound of the wind, the calls of wild birds, and then a mysterious singing voice in a garden where he meets Elu, the Spirit of the Blue Rose. Elu informs Harvey that they shall meet once again in the mist...

Takarazuka Revue Flower Troupe 2002-2003 production of the Viennese musical Elisabeth

At the end of the Edo Period, there was a legendary chivalrous thief who stole from rich merchants and self-serving samurai and gave to the virtuous people of the town. His name was Nezumi-kozo (Rat Boy) Jirokichi. This musical is about how he competed with and was friends with the hero of so many period dramas (Touyama Kinshiro), and about the loves they surrounded themselves with in the new and progressive Japan. A Takarazuka take on the tale of Nezumi-kozo.

The French word "charme" can express ideas such as "attractiveness," "loveliness," "magic" and "bewitchment." Lurking amid the flowers and lights of the city of Paris is a revue that unfolds on a stage below the city streets that is at once both provocative and captivating.
