It all happens over two days and—naturally—and in particular—two nights. A perfectly ordinary girl gets herself into a lot of trouble because of her slightly too big heart, which exposes her to trials and temptations she cannot overcome without the help of little white lies and pretence. She manages to overcome almost all obstacles, but loses her heart.

Søren Holm becomes a pastor in the small town of Harslev. The parish council chairwoman, Mrs. Andersen, interferes in the pastor's family's private life, and when Søren plays in a soccer game to get to know the town's young men, Mrs. Andersen becomes furious. Half of the parish turns its back on Søren. But Søren does good work for the young people, and gradually, with the help of the parish clerk, he is accepted by both the parish council and the town's youth.

He stopped by the police, and they find a call to military service in his pocket, after further complications lands him at the barracks, where he came under the loving care of 66 (Dirch compatible) and 65 (Ove Sprogø). So the stage is set for lots of fun and games, in the right old style.

The priest in Solby borrows 2,000 kroons from the parish council treasury to pay for one of his parishioners' hospital stays in Germany. Marianne, the rich man's daughter, is to be a bridesmaid in Aalborg and is leaving Copenhagen for Jutland. In Solby, she drives too fast through the town, which is why she has a car accident and ends up in the priest's garden! She immediately starts to lead everyone around the rectory, which Aunt Marie is definitely not happy about. The priest, on the other hand, is attracted to the girl. They swim in the lake and go to a ball together, which leads to Mrs. Larsen coming in to talk to the bishop. After Marianne has returned to Copenhagen, the bishop announces his arrival at the rectory. Where will the priest now find the 2,000 kroons? The priest has a number of friends who are trying to help him, but he also receives unexpected help from the bishop.

Niels Pind is a drunkard who is exploited by some of the town's residents. This comes to an end when his son, Jens, returns from America with a lot of money. Jens buys the local estate and starts extracting gravel from the ground. He quickly gains a bad reputation in the area because he only thinks about money. Niels Pind disowns his son. However, Jens changes as he falls more and more in love with Ingrid.

The good people of a small community in the countryside near Copenhagen enjoy life and find their way to love.

Two young skippers, Hans Tønnesen and Poul Nielsen, have a small cargo ship that transports freight from Copenhagen to the provinces. Poul and Hans are in love with the same girl, Margit, who is the daughter of master baker Bonnekamp. However, Margit chooses Poul. On their wedding night, Hans cannot sleep. He sits in his boat and hears a splash in the water. He jumps into the water and rescues a young girl, Kristiane, from drowning. She is distraught because she is pregnant and does not dare tell her parents. Hans offers to marry her and acknowledge paternity, but on the way to his own wedding, his engine stalls.

In the vicinity of Copenhagen, a group of pensioners live in a very large villa. The owner, Doctor Bach, has invited a colleague, the young master Peter Park , to visit him. They have a common interest that they could discuss during his stay. When he arrives, it is at a most inconvenient time. He is greeted by the doctor's sister, the almost deaf Camilla, who does not understand much of what is going on around her. The doctor has completely forgotten that he invited Park, but he settles him into the villa nonetheless. Here, Park meets the doctor's granddaughter, the young and beautiful Lise Bach (Henriette Normann), to whom he is immediately attracted. When Lise asks her grandfather if he is going out again, the doctor explains that he is going to the cinema with his good friend Friis.

They abound in all countries, and even in our relatively peaceful country, there are more of them than one would think. The great film director Stenbuk reads sensational articles about a major smuggling affair, and he sends a manuscript back to two writers with the message that if they do not come up with a smuggling-themed manuscript within eight days, they can run and chicken.

Honor, morality and the "right" outlook on life are paramount. And these concepts were by no means something to be made fun of, which can be somewhat annoying when you remember that this film is based on the English play "Bank Holiday", which took a good English fart on virtues and morality. Inger Holst is a nursing student who, at a party, meets the unreal Jørgen Frandsen, who invites her to a "festive night" one weekend at a hotel in Tisvilde. However, a tragic incident occurs at the hospital where she works. The incident involves the young widower, engineer Berg, whom she has come to know as a fine, real and sympathetic person. Inger's compassion makes her offer to give up her weekend trip and stay with him.

The wealthy Olaf Brammer is the real owner of a nationwide company that trades in household goods. But he has no say, as the authoritative general manager Schram manages both the business and Olaf Brammer with a sure hand. Ms. Kirkemus, as Berg has named her, brings life to the entire office and a business trip to Stockholm, where half the staff participates, becomes no less festive thanks to her. But Ms. Kirkemus has fallen in love with her director and it doesn't really suit her that Berg is meeting another girl in Stockholm and then the antics get even more intense...

He worries about his excessive focus on masturbation and, although he is aware of the sexual overtures by the housemaid Sophie, Jacob doesn't know how to respond to her.

Two rival young men both desire the merchant's pretty daughter, a bad young man robs the merchant's safe and blames it on "mother-in-law's dream", a worldly-wise grandmother directs the battle of love from her living room, and a couple of silly railway workers spread song and joy.

Peter Blom, called Lynet, escapes from prison, and at the same time the unemployed actor Poul Quist sees his portrait in the newspaper, in connection with a film company wanting to make a film about Lynet, and is looking for someone to play the lead role. Since the resemblance between Blom and Quist is striking, Quist approaches the film company and then the pranks start to take off, when Quist pretends to be Lynet. The film director thinks that he really is Lynet and sees a sensation by giving him the role.

"Naalen" is the title character in the film, a ruthless black market kingpin whose wake inevitably follows a series of other crimes. How "Naalen" got his strange nickname will not be revealed here, but it can be hinted that it has a close connection to the precious and rare commodity he deals in his "business": insulin.

A husband is tempted to stray, gives in, and then struggles with himself and his conscience. The children are weighed in the balance, and in the end they are what make him stay in the marriage, even though he must then forsake the woman who for a time sweetened his life outside the confines of home.

A few cunning minds in town have seen through Andres' wealth and devise a plan to secure a share of the wealth by appointing the tailor as director of a newly started bank - and then exploiting his naivety.

This festive comedy has a theme song that was incredibly popular in its day – but which is missing a verse! The penultimate verse ends as follows: "...there were 39 sailors and one girl, and that's why the censors deleted the last verse." In 1965, it was new and very daring for a girl to go to sea in the merchant navy. But fortunately, Peer Guldbrandsen and director Annelise Reenberg saw that girls also had a future at sea when they wrote the film's screenplay based on Else Boyes' best-selling novel. 1905. A couple of cheerful traveling salesmen, Hansen and Larsen, are on their last round of visits to customers before settling down in the big city to open their own business selling women's underwear. They hold a farewell dinner for one of their old customers in Lilleby. There is a ball at the hotel, and a couple of young ladies make the acquaintance of the two friends, which will have consequences in more ways than one.

The stout Axel Høegh is a forester on the Troldborg estate in South Zealand, where he lives with his daughter Anne, who runs the house, and his son Mogens, who serves as a forester candidate under his father, and who is engaged to a young girl, Ulla Kryger, who is employed at a Copenhagen advertising agency.

An American gangster nicknamed "English Joe" has fled across the Mexican border with his gang, consisting of four men in addition to himself. The American police are after them because of a bank robbery in which they killed several of the bank's employees. But "English Joe" soon comes up with a new plan that can bring them to safety for a while and at the same time give them the opportunity for a new coup. An old engineer who has worked at a weapons factory in Mexico has traveled home to his own country to complete an epoch-making invention: the silent machine gun. The men are ordered to Denmark, where the old engineer now lives.

Allan Thorsen is tired of his wife, but he finds it difficult to tell her that he wants a divorce. So he arranges a skiing holiday where she will fall in love with another man, so that he can get rid of her without having to do anything himself. She does find a man who is interested, but then Allan becomes jealous and soon tries to win his wife back. However, the situation is complicated by the fact that Allan's mistress suddenly shows up at the holiday hotel.

Landowner Munk has problems – he cherishes his wild moorland and does not want to parcel it out. His friend Martin Hald tries to mediate, but in vain. At the same time, Munk is worried about his nephew Jørgen, who grew up with him. He is in prison – convicted on false grounds. In prison, he has a friend named "Fusser," and when they are released, Fusser decides to investigate Jørgen's case.

The story is built around the "Charles' Aunt" theme and is wonderfully festive. In a large villa in Ordrup live manufacturer Nelsøe, his wife and their young daughter Else. Else has been let down by her sweetheart, so Else is in crisis. So mother and father hire a young girl of the same age in the house "with a family position" to get Else in a better mood. The girl who moves in is a priest's daughter from Mols and the two girls quickly become good friends. But suddenly it turns out that Grethe from Mols has some very cool friends...

It's not always easy being a father – archivist Jørgensen knows this all too well. His only son, Bent, is more interested in the band he and his friends have formed than in his studies. In the early 1940s, there were a couple of guys who traveled around the country from market to market with their tent. It contained only one thing: a boxing ring. The big, strong boxer challenged the local farmhands to a quick three-round boxing match and promised a large cash reward to anyone who could knock him out.

Søndreø is a small, peaceful island in one of Denmark's fjords, owned and run by the old farmer Lars Søndervold and his son Søren. But times are hard, and everything is not going as it should. The greedy, bragging merchant Anders Lundrup has used all means to gain possession of the island, and one fine day Søren and his old father must leave their ancestral farm and the island. Søren swears an expensive oath - he will earn so much money that he can one day buy the farm and the island back, and at the same time he swears revenge on Anders Lundrup.

However, Bartholdi is neither a stickler nor a hack. They get help from a lawyer, who only has success when he goes through Bartholdi's grandson.

In the idyllic provincial town of Gammelkøbing lives Emanuel Thomsen, known as Thummelumsen. It is his great dream to buy the Møllegården, which was once owned by the family, and for 15 years he has been scrimping and saving to get by. In the meantime, he has been followed by several hopeful female glances, because even though Thummelumsen is no Adonis, he is full of energy. And when one day he wins 12,500 kroner in the lottery, everything seems to be going well. But then the bag is shaken once again...

Three girls (around 20 years old) who have grown up in different parts of Denmark get a strange letter. It turns out they are sisters, and will inherit from their late mother, if the can stay together one month in the same house. They end up in a lot of (romantic) trouble, because of speculations of who their father(s) might be.

The film is a sequel to Hold fingrene fra mor (Hands Off Mom). Berthe Quistgaard and Helge Kjærulff-Schmidt play the leading roles in this delightful romantic comedy.
