The story is set in a hotel environment where the main Character meets various people in different hotel rooms and gets involved with their private drama instigates it. The drama turns out to be somehow conducted by the female director, also one of the persons that the main Character meets in a hotel. The plot revolves around subjects of love, youth, death and ones persona and shows the main Character hopelessly trying to figure out the definition of self by means of desperately looking for real emotions in people and himself and channeling them through theatrical form. Will the main Character finally discover who he really is?

Following the emotions associated with entrance examinations to the faculty of pedagogy, Catherine Solska returns to his native village. And here she will surprise - the family without their knowledge to begin preparations for engagement with a rich neighbor Kolasa. Girl falls into despair, tries to oppose the decision of the parents, but is closed in his room. On visits to her fiance and flees out the window calling mail to the university. On an ordinary winter's day, various people from outside Warsaw come to the Polish capital city for different reasons. They all have something to deal with, and their paths eventually intertwine.

Marcin Bortkiewicz is one of the ten young directors which has taken the challenge of making new film on the Decalogue Commandment's impact for young generations, due to the project made on 20th anniversary of launching the famous "Decalogue" by Krzysztof Kieślowski.
