Herbert Krcal (Roland Düringer) and his wife Margit (Nina Proll) dream of owning a home. They prefer to do this in the "Blue Lagoon", a prefabricated house park in the south of Vienna, where they regularly go on pilgrimage with their son Philipp. Just as regularly, they have to recognize the bitter truth that they cannot actually afford the dream house they have visited.

The film deals with questions that have long tormented us: Who was the first civil servant? How has the civil service developed over the course of history? What did Mr. Weber, Engineer Breitfuß, Ms. Knackal, and Mr. Claus do before MA 2412 existed? How did they meet? Why was MA 2412 actually founded? What if the EU decides to introduce a Europe-wide Christmas department? And what is the point of it all?

The Raimundspiele Gutenstein theater company has put the play on its summer program. The production was presented at a press conference in Vienna on Wednesday. Ernst Wolfram Marboe, artistic director and director of the Raimundspiele, promised a production in keeping with previous tradition: "We are building on positive experiences." When an idyllic and authentic backdrop is needed for a Bollywood movie, she quickly suggests her former home. The Indian crew is thrilled and invades the sleepy mountain village with huge catering buses, llamas and exotic dancers. Two cultures that couldn't be more different collide...
