Fall 2014: two women, a journalist and an activist, are slowly losing their coherent worldviews. After a chance encounter, their perspectives on the refugee crisis, on politics, work and capitalism collide. What emerges is a road movie through rural Greece, in pursuit of invisible borders and an attitude toward our present times.

A dinosaur clone escapes from a scientific laboratory. It swims across the Rhine River to Germany's largest lake—Lake Constance—and begins killing innocent people. All the usual clichés are used: the main scientists (a divorced couple who find each other again during the story!) have been fired before the final experiment; children go swimming at night, even though everyone knows there is something dangerous in the lake; the equipment is completely destroyed because someone shoots at the screen...

Time of darkness. Time of fire kindled against cold and fear. During the Holy Night, the seven year old Micha has to escape with his young mother Marianne from the violence of his drunken father... During their one week odyssey through frozen Germany, mother and son meet people to offer them shelter... Crushed by their own poverty, or dominated by their feelings of being lost, these people just hurt them deeper and they can be nothing other than stations of their continuous escape
