Financial issues at Pine Hollow have the Saddle Club scrambling to make money to help out. Veronica's father decides to help out by investing in the stables, however, the DiAngelo fortune is in trouble.

Being the social outcasts of the town, Kevin and Maxwell come to realize that they are similar to each other and accept that they are "freaks" and nothing will stop them.
