Zoya Stepanova

A criminal story which happened in a small Russian town.

One evening, in the company of his friends, the bachelor Stas for the sake of entertainment called the number, the numbers of which were called by his friends, putting a comic condition: “If a woman answers, you marry her.” A really pleasant female voice responded. Stas didn't dare to admit his company in this, again wanted to hear it, but couldn't remember the phone number. Then he asked everyone to remember their number. Having got acquainted with Lyudmila, Stas realizes that she is the woman of his dreams.

A man reconnects with the people he grew up with in a Soviet orphanage.

A young teacher goes to a school for adults. He is younger than many of his students and some of them are starting to miss school.

After the partisans Julia, Pavel and Sergei went out on a combat mission, the detachment was surrounded and destroyed by punishers. Years later, a document was discovered stating that one of the three was a traitor.

Svetlana Vasilievna is a young, energetic woman who often changes jobs, accustomed to achieving the goals that she has set for herself in life. Her next desire is to marry a "creative, intelligent" person. After a lengthy search, she chose an elderly, but well-mannered, intelligent official Vladimir Dmitrievich Lobanov. Svetlana believes that with the help of connections and sober calculation, you can achieve everything: well-being, respectability, even personal happiness. She does not notice that the fulfillment of her desires does not at all make the person close to her happy. The payback turns out to be unexpected and terrible.

Soviet intelligence spouses — Lyudmila ("Lyre") and Fyodor ("Starling") Grekov at the beginning of the Great Patriotic War are tasked with settling in Germany. Personnel intelligence officers with vast experience are successfully introduced into German society and begin to work actively. At the end of the war, during the bombing of Berlin, fate separates them, but then they will meet in the new Germany and continue their work.

The film takes place in the late 1920s, during the emergence of the first collective farms in Turkmenistan. The main character Aina works as a laborer for the kulak Esen-bay, who hates the Soviet regime and is associated with the Basmachi.

The manager of the Belarusian collective farm Naideika Krasovich, inspired by the award at the All-Union Agricultural Exhibition for the high flax harvest, gives her word to double the harvest. Many fellow villagers doubt her success, and only Grigory Pavlovich, the new director of MTS, who left his family in the city and came to the village at the call of the party, provides Nadeika with all kinds of support and excessive attention, because he loves and, it seems, is loved. In parallel to this story, a plot develops about the love of the tractor driver Zosya for the forester Yanka, who unrequitedly suffers for Nadeyka.
